We are now B Corp Certified

WHAT DOES B CORP CERTIFIED MEAN? 

Certified B Corporations are companies like ours which have been verified by B Lab (a private non-profit organisation) to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. It’s a way to show our customers, team, and community that we’re serious about using business as a force for good.

WHAT DOES THE B STAND FOR? 

Benefit for all. The B Corp movement is working to transform the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet. 

WHAT DID INDI HAVE TO DO TO GET CERTIFIED? 

I started the process started back in 2024 by completing a detailed online assessment to measure how our company operates and how it impacts our team, our suppliers, the environment, our community, and customers. After ‘passing’ this step, we went through a (lengthy!) review process with B Lab, the non-profit behind the certification. 

As one of the final steps, I’m proud to say that we updated our company’s legal governing documents to show that we consider people and the planet—not just profit—in our decision-making.

Now we are certified, we have joined an incredible global community of businesses using their influence for good. We’ll need to recertify every three years to show that we’re still meeting the necessary standards, and rightly so.

WHY BUY FROM B CORP BRANDS? 

For me personally, it feels like the smart and ethical choice. B Corps meet high standards when it comes to things like reducing waste, cutting emissions, and using resources more responsibly. What I really appreciate is that B Corps are regularly audited, so when a brand carries that B Corp stamp, I know it’s more than just marketing.

These businesses are mission-driven at their core, and many reinvest their profits into social and environmental causes. When you buy from a B Corp, you're not just getting a product—you’re backing a better way of doing business.
