Recovery smoothie bowl

However you like to get your exercise in, this smoothie is the perfect post-workout breakfast.

Indi Build has 23g of plant-based protein to help you build and repair muscle, as well as hero whole food ingredients Montmorency Cherry and Cocoa that reduce muscle soreness, rehydrate and speed up your recovery. Hemp seeds provide even more plant-based protein, as well as being an excellent source of omega 3 & 6 fatty acids, antioxidants, iron, and vitamin B. Topping with cacao nibs and chia seeds provide those all important antioxidants, as well as some crunchy chocolatey goodness.

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop of Indi Build
  • 1 handful of spinach (40g)
  • 1 handful of cashew nuts (25g)
  • 1 banana, frozen, in chunks
  • 1 orange, peeled and quartered
  • 1cm ginger, peeled, cut in round slices
  • 200 ml plant based milk

To Serve

Your choice of fresh fruit or berries, cacao nibs, desiccated coconut, goji berries, chia seeds, hemp seeds, flaxseeds, nuts.

Method

1. Blend all ingredients in a high power blender. Pour into a bowl then decorate as desired. We used slices of fresh banana, goji berries, flaxseeds, chia seeds and desiccated coconut.

Serve immediately for maximum benefit.
